Tilsworth Charities has now undergone some changes in respect of its management and board of trustees. This was discussed at the July meeting of Tilsworth Parish Council and details of the changes are included in the minutes of the parish council meeting of July 2024.
Thanks go to the outgoing trustees who have managed the charity for many years. The minute books dating back to 1905 will soon be lodged with Bedfordshire Archives for safekeeping. They reflect Tilsworth through many decades including war time and are an important piece of social history.
The charity now has a new board of trustees and thanks go to those who have willingly stepped up to help. It is envisaged that the Charity will continue it’s annual meeting, to be held in November.
