You may have seen some activity at The Hyde field which is situated between Kingswood Travellers site and the Golf Club in Dunstable Road.
This field is owned by Tilsworth Parish Council and work is now underway to improve the land in order to return it to good use. The boundaries are being defined, the surfaces levelled and issues with the drainage ditches by the main road are being addressed.
Once in good order, The Hyde Field will become a pleasant and usable area. There is the likelihood that a woodland area will be created which will serve as an asset for the community. Possibly a Memorial Wood.
